Last night was a bit of a sleepless night Friend. I was tallying up what we’ve raised so far to help us in an upcoming spring election and we’re not quite where we need to be.

We’re in the home stretch now and I need you, and every Green supporter who is able to contribute tonight, to chip in what they can. The Green Party of Canada depends on the generosity of supporters like you. If our work on Canada’s political scene is important to you, now (right now!) is the time to give.
Why now, you ask?
- We have a financial goal to meet. I’m looking at the numbers, and I’m nervous because what we raise before 2021 has a direct impact on what we can accomplish together in the new year.
- There could be an election in the spring. The work of being election-ready is serious business – it takes money to campaign alongside the big parties funded by big pocketbooks. The GPC needs to be prepared for an election so we can continue putting people and planet first in Canadian politics.
