Team -

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the unpredictable,
scary, huge year that it was.

Remember your New Year's resolution from January 2020? Yeah, I
didn't hit many of mine either.

My year quickly turned into an all-hands-on-deck effort to keep
my constituents informed, healthy, and safe as a global pandemic
spiraled into an economic crisis during a presidential election
year. But it was truly inspiring to see this community rally
together to support each other through these crises, work so hard
to elect Joe Biden and Democrats up and down the ballot, and then
KEEP working to win these runoffs in Georgia.

Unfortunately, our government did not always step up to meet the
moment even as the American people struggled to pay their bills,
and COVID-19 spread quickly through communities. Republicans in
Congress did nothing but the bare minimum to provide relief via
legislation, and Donald Trump has all but given up on being
president in the wake of his loss to Joe Biden.

This moment has instilled in me the urgency of action. There was
no time to waste in combating COVID-19 and the subsequent fallout
- and yet our leaders in the White House and Senate refused to
act, and now we are paying the price in American lives and
American livelihoods.

I won't wait to take advantage of this opportunity in Georgia. I
won't wait to push for change in 2021 when House Democrats will
finally have a governing partner in Joe Biden. The moment demands
big progressive leadership, and I can't wait to get to work.

If you'd like to support my campaign ahead of what will be a
busy and important year, I'd be grateful. You can do so here:
