Team,

Looking back at 2020 has been a powerful reminder of the many things that our people-first movement has been able to accomplish together this year — even with all the challenges that were thrown at us.

But as we look forward to 2021, I'm clear-eyed about the obstacles we face. Our country is in the midst of major overlapping crises. Our response must match the scale of this devastation, and that requires us to deliver policies that lift people up — policies that are bold, compassionate, and transformative.

I'm doing everything in my power to fight for our shared progressive values, but the strength of that fight is reliant on the backing of supporters like you. Will you contribute $3 or more right now to help us reach our make-or-break $30,000 FEC deadline goal before midnight tonight?

Since the general election, we've been told that we should be prepared to make compromises. We've been told to accept half steps and half measures. We've been told to take what we can and go big later. And while it's true our country is more divided than ever, millions of voters just gave Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a clear mandate to finally deliver for working people and the most vulnerable.

Remember when I fought to make Seattle the first major city to pass a $15 minimum wage, and everyone called us radical for doing that? Well, Florida just passed a $15 minimum wage with a supermajority of votes — while voting for Donald Trump.

Many things called 'far-left' or 'radical' are just about lifting people up and ensuring no one has to work 40 hours a week and worry about how they will pay the rent, access health care, and feed their family. That's why I'm ready to get to work with my colleagues in the Progressive Caucus to deliver the structural changes our country needs — but I can't do this alone.

Chip in before midnight to help us reach our FEC deadline goal and power our progress in 2021. Your contribution — no matter the amount — makes a real difference, and it’ll be a powerful sign of our movement's strength.

Thanks for fighting alongside me,

Pramila
