Hi,

We have just a few hours left before 2020 finally comes to a close, and I want to wrap up this year by saying thank you.

The fights, the wins, the forward progress we made this year -- none of it could have happened without you. I know many of us are reflecting on all of this right now -- thinking hard about what we accomplished, what we learned, and what the next steps are to carry our work forward.

The fight isn't over, and we have plenty of work ahead. However, I have no doubt that in the new year, this team will meet the moment -- just like we've always done. So as we prepare to take the next step, I wanted to share a couple thoughts about what I believe is our biggest asset: who we are.

What has always set this movement apart is the strength of our growing coalition. The Texas Democratic community looks like Texas. Texas Democrats are Black, Latino, AAPI, Indigenous, white, and more. Texans with disabilities. Immigrants and folks whose Texas roots go back generations. LGBTQ+ Texans. And hard working people who face a system tilted against them.

The voices, the dreams, and the daily realities of our state are represented here, and Texans know it. That's why we gained ground this year. We didn't accomplish everything we set out to do. We all know we need to do better, and if we keep putting our big, diverse coalition at the heart of everything we do, we will keep gaining ground until Texas goes blue.

Whether it's building stronger relationships with our communities, or fighting as fiercely as ever to elect leaders who truly represent us, the key right now is to keep doing the work. Chip in $7 to power another year of mobilizing to turn Texas blue:
