I’m writing to you today to let you know about a very important target we just set, in hopes that you can give us a hand.

This Monday, September 30 marks the end of another financial quarter for campaigns like ours. We have to report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC), and we want to take this opportunity to really set the tone ahead of 2020.

As you likely know, Matt is already facing a few GOP challengers. We need to post a big number in order to ward off any early attacks!

John, we’ve set an ambitious online grassroots fundraising goal for the next week. Our math says that we need 25 more donors from DC in order to hit these targets.
