4X Year-End Match Challenge
Dear John,
In a very short time, the clock will chime at midnight, and a new year will begin. But I'm not quite ready to close out this year, as we still have a few more hours to continue our 2020 fight against Alzheimer's disease.

On the last day of 2020, you have an amazing chance to make 4X the impact in our fight. Longtime supporters of the Alzheimer's Association John and Crystal Beuerlein have pledged $250,000 in matching funds for our 4X Year-End Match Challenge — but we only have until midnight tonight. I need your help to reach this challenge so we can make four times the impact toward our critical work to provide care and support and advance research. Can I count on you?

Alzheimer's is destroying our families, our finances and our future. I understand you may be busy right now or have a full inbox, but I want to make you aware of this amazing opportunity to make quadruple the impact in the fight to end this cruel disease. Will you join me?

Our supporters have helped us advance our work in 2020. I'd be especially grateful if you would join us by making your first gift today, knowing every dollar you give can be matched 4X up to $250,000.

Our work to achieve an end to Alzheimer's must be one of our most urgent priorities for the more than 5 million Americans living with this devastating disease. That's why I'm asking you to make a gift right now before our $250,000 4X Year-End Match Challenge ends at midnight. Not only can your generosity have 4X the impact, but it may also be tax deductible.

With your support in 2020, we were able to:
  • Grant more than $47 million to 139 new scientific investigations. As the world's leading nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's and dementia research, the Association is accelerating the field toward solutions for the global Alzheimer's crisis.
  • Support the 16 million unpaid caregivers — who provide an estimated 18.6 billion hours of unpaid care with an estimated economic value of $244 billion — through our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and online resources at alz.org.
  • Offer virtual training programs for staff in long-term care settings and reactively provide assistance during the global pandemic.
John and Crystal have pledged their gift to support local diversity and inclusion efforts. John, please make your year-end gift now while it can be matched up to $250,000 and have 4X the impact to further our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Happy New Year, and thank you.

Thank you for your support,
