To my committed supporters:

We started off the year as we always do — prepared for a time of growth, progress, and ready to accomplish our personal goals.

While our year did not look as we had expected, we accomplished something even greater. Together, we’ve proved that our country will not tolerate racism, hate, or attacks on our democracy.

None of this would be possible without supporters like you, and I cannot wait to see the progress we make together in the new year. We have a lot to address next year — combating and recovering from the pandemic, addressing our student’s needs as they navigate new learning formats, supporting our veterans who have been especially impacted by COVID-19, and so much more.

Your support over the past week and the past year has helped us afford to make the strides Californians need and deserve.

As we close the chapter on 2020 — a year of both challenge and opportunity — I ask that you continue to look out for your neighbors, family, and community.

Because of your support, 2021 will be a year of progress with Democrats on the frontlines advocating for the livelihood of all of our communities.
