Dear supporters – Stand with Parkland is a national organization representing American families. We are committed to advocating for practical public safety reforms focused on the safety of our children and staff at school, improved mental health support, and responsible firearms ownership. As the parents and spouses of the victims of the senseless violence in Parkland, FL, we have come together to tell our story, the reasons behind the tragedy, and what caused it. What makes Stand with Parkland unique is that we’ve set aside the issues that are most divisive and focused on the pragmatic solutions that we know will help solve the problem. Securing the school campus. Mental health support and screening programs. Responsible firearms ownership. The safety of our nation's students and teachers is not a political issue, and we will work with anyone who shares our goal of safe schools. As we welcome re-elected and new leaders to Washington, D.C. and state and local governments around the nation, it is critically important that our uniquely inclusive, non-partisan, and comprehensive message can rise above the noise. Students, teachers, and administrations are relying on compromise and bipartisan ideas – and leaders who are willing to act on those ideas – to keep the communities they call home safe from mass violence. With your support, we can bring our record of proven success to more states and cities and continue our advocacy on the federal level with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. Thank you, Tony Montalto
