POLITICO: “Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield instructed staff to delete an email from a Trump political appointee seeking control over the agency’s scientific reports on the pandemic, a senior CDC official told congressional investigators.”
As POLITICO further reports: “Rep. Jim Clyburn, who chairs the House Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis ... raised concern the episode may be among ‘deliberate efforts by the Trump Administration to conceal and destroy evidence’ of political meddling in the pandemic response.”
Another bombshell about the Trump administration’s utter selfishness and incompetence in handling the pandemic comes right after Trump held a White House summit to claim ownership over the success of these vaccine developments.
It’s beyond despicable: While thousands of Americans die daily of COVID-19 because of our nation’s failed leadership, Trump’s number one priority remains claiming accomplishments that aren’t his in order to secure his presidential legacy.
It’s just another reason why over 80 million Americans voted for Joe Biden, and now we're hearing the great news about his incoming administration’s ambitious plans to disperse the vaccine, tighten public health requirements, and provide economic relief to all who are suffering.
But we KNOW that Mitch McConnell and the Republicans, if they remain in control of the Senate, will make Biden’s life a living hell. If we lose in Georgia on January 5, it would mean that Biden’s 100-day plan will never come to fruition.
