By this time next year, it's my hope that we'll find ourselves in a much different reality.

A reality in which COVID-19 cases are no longer on the rise, the President is working to heal our nation, and the Senate is ready and willing to pass legislation to help working families.

In this reality, climate change is treated like the threat it is, the advice of scientists is heeded, not chastised, criminal justice reforms address long-standing biases against people of color, and changes to our immigration system respect the humanity in everyone.

To make this future into a reality, however, we'll need leaders who put the needs of working people first.

As long as I represent California's 38th district, that's exactly what I'll do. I'm ready to continue this work until 2022 and beyond, but to do that, I need the support of folks like yourself.
