Our next end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline is on Monday.

It's our chance to show the three Republicans who have officially declared to run against me that we're building a grassroots movement that will once again overcome all their corporate PAC donations and fat checks they get from special interests like the NRA.

I really need your help hitting our goal of raising another $30,000 before the fundraising deadline, and in a minute, I'm going to ask you to donate. But first, let me explain:

Special interests, our opponents, and the media will be looking at the fundraising number we report to determine the strength of our campaign.
If they think we're taking this election for granted, they'll move this swing district to the top of their target list -- and then even more special interest cash will pour into this race.
For our campaign to win again in a district Donald Trump won by more than 6 points, we have to be able to scale our operation to reactivate supporters and get our message out on the ground, on the airwaves, and online -- which means we need thousands of donations from people like you.

I know how hard supporters like you are working, whether it's after school, or once the kids are in bed, or on your only days off. I know you're donating what you can, and that for many families, any amount is a real sacrifice.

So, I wouldn't be asking you to help me kick off our end-of-quarter fundraising push by making a donation of any size if it wasn't vitally important to the campaign. Can you chip in and help us raise another $30,000 before our FEC deadline on Monday?
