Team,
With widespread support from voters in Washington's 7th District and progressives all across the country, Pramila secured her re-election with 387,109 votes — the most votes of any person elected to Congress in 2020.
This commanding mandate has given our people-first movement the momentum to go even further for racial, economic, social, and environmental justice, which will be important as Pramila assumes her role as sole chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. But there's one last hurdle we need to overcome:
In the coming days, our fundraising numbers will go public, and pundits will use them to measure the enthusiasm for our bold and transformative agenda. Can you rush a donation of $3 or more toward our $30,000 FEC deadline goal to help us show just how strong this movement is?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
This goal is more than just a symbolic test of our strength. We need to raise $30,000 to invest in the staff, resources, and organizing tools we'll need to fight for and secure Pramila's people-first priorities in Congress.
With a slimmer majority in the House, we know Republicans will try anything to blunt our momentum. We also know that the pressure to make concessions on our priorities will be stronger than ever.
But if we're able to mobilize our movement to demand the change voters asked for at the ballot box, we will win.
Rush a donation toward our FEC deadline goal of $30,000 by midnight tonight to ensure we have the resources necessary to help Pramila deliver on policies that work for everyone.
Thank you for your support,
Team Jayapal
