Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu this week met Jonathan Pollard and his wife, Esther, when they landed at Ben Gurion Airport aboard a private jet owned by Sheldon Adelson, a major backer of Netanyahu and President Donald Trump. (Adelson is the proud new owner of the U.S. ambassador’s residence in Israel, which he purchased for more than $67 million in a transaction that has been shrouded in secrecy.)
