Dear John,
This year posed unprecedented challenges but as an organization we are stronger and more focused on our mission. We have watched in awe as our partners in healthcare faced unparalleled?obstacles and showed tremendous courage and resilience. We have been humbled by the stories of youth advocating for their own education in sexual and reproductive health. We are forever grateful for the support of our community throughout what is undoubtedly a year to remember.?
This year also provided new opportunities for innovation and discovery. We have learned new ways of working together and found pathways to better address the systemic barriers in the way of progress. As we wind down the days of 2020 we look forward to a new year and renewed energy to ensure Texas teens have the tools they need to thrive.?
We are excited to share our plans for 2021, including:
- Advocacy in Action Week - an opportunity for stakeholders across the state to engage in the 87th legislative session virtually;
- 10th Annual Symposium - bringing together youth-serving professionals and partners to learn, connect, and inspire one another;
- Release of our Gap Analysis research - exploring the landscape of adolescent reproductive health across the state; and?
- Continuing to advocate for improvements in sexual health education of K-12 students with the State Board of Education.
We invite you to join us in our journey! Follow this link and make a donation today. Thank you for being a part of our commitment to making the future bright for the youth of Texas.?
