Before the clock strikes twelve tonight and we close the chapter on a challenging year, we wanted to highlight what you helped Dwight accomplish through all the ups and downs.

2020 wasn't what any of us expected it to be, but that didn't stop Dwight from going to work every day for the communities that are often left unheard and underserved. Here's just a peek at all that Dwight helped move this year:

Throughout the 116th Congress, Dwight co-sponsored 540 pieces of legislation, fighting for improvements like urban development, good-paying jobs, racial justice, gun violence reform, and climate justice. And overall, he was the lead sponsor on 17 bills.

In the House, Dwight helped pass 86 pieces of legislation.

And he fought back against the partisan gridlock, and 15 bills officially were signed into law.

When COVID-19 hit our community, our campaign went digital. Together, we engaged thousands of supporters online with over 12,000 people joining our community on Facebook and Twitter.

Grassroots donors made hundreds of small-dollar contributions to support Dwight's movement for the people in Congress, at an average of $33.

And Dwight held town halls and digital events throughout the year to keep an open line of communication with folks in our region during what was, for many people, a scary and confusing time.

Behind every number, there's a story, a person, and a reason to keep fighting. And then there are some things that you can't track with numbers.

Together, we kicked Trump out of office, elected the first-ever Black South Asian American woman to the White House, defended affordable health care, fought for COVID-19 relief, fought back against centuries of systemic racism, and so much more. We're so proud of this team, and we can't wait to see what we accomplish in 2021.
