Only 855 Confirmed Cases of the Flu So Far This Year, Down 98% From 2019

By: Zachary Mettler

So far, the seasonal flu has all but disappeared this year.

As of December 19, 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has tested 516,977 people for the influenza virus. Only 855, or 0.2%, have come back positive.

The 855 confirmed cases of the flu is cumulative from September 27, 2020 which marks the beginning of this year’s flu season. Data is reported by the U.S. Influenza Surveillance Tracker provided by the CDC.

For Week 51, which runs from December 13-19, there were 36 positive specimens, including 15 of Influenza A and 21 of Influenza B, according to the CDC.
Appeals Court Tosses Governor Cuomo’s Church
Appeals Court Tosses Governor Cuomo’s Church Restrictions, Rules They ‘Discriminate Against Religion’
By: Zachary Mettler

A federal appeals court has ruled against Democrat New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s 10- and 25-person capacity limit for houses of worship. The severity of the restrictions had depended upon whether the church is located in a “red” or “orange” zone respectively and paid no regard to the building capacity of the church.

The three-judge panel for the U.S. Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on December 28 that Gov. Cuomo’s order “discriminates against religion on its face.”

The ruling means that as the case continues to play out in the court system, Gov. Cuomo and the state of New York cannot enforce their in-person cap on houses of worship.
Gallup: Importance of Married Parenting Declines Starkly in U.S
Gallup: Importance of Married Parenting Declines Starkly in U.S., Even Among Weekly Church Attendees
By: Glenn T. Stanton

The Gallup research firm is reporting that the percentage of Americans who believe it is “very important” for a child’s parents to be married has declined dramatically. In 2006, only 49% of Americans believed it was “very important” that a mother and father be legally married when becoming parents. Gallup found that only 29% believe this today! Reversing the question, 23% of Americans in 2006 believed it was “not at all important” for parents to be married when they had a child together. That has risen substantially to 40% today.

Doctor Fauci Deliberately Distorted Herd Immunity Numbers
Doctor Fauci Deliberately Distorted Herd Immunity Numbers. Senator Marco Rubio Fires Back
By: Zachary Mettler

Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio took aim at Doctor Anthony Fauci on Sunday morning after the Christmas Eve revelation that Fauci has “slowly but deliberately been moving the goal posts” when talking about the percent of Americans that must become immune to COVID-19 in order to gain herd immunity.

Dr. Fauci has done this in part based on his own “gut feeling that the country is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.”

In other words, Dr. Fauci has been intentionally deceiving the American people throughout the pandemic. For their own good, of course.
