Last Day to Give in 2020!

Dear Friend,

As we put 2020 behind us, we are filled with hope for 2021.

Like you, we look forward to bidding farewell to 2020 – one of the most challenging years in our history at USCRI. But because of you, USCRI continued to serve refugees, immigrants, unaccompanied children, and survivors of trafficking through these incredibly difficult times.

The good news is that 2021 looks brighter. The New Administration has vowed to reverse the cruel immigration policies of the past few years and to increase the number of refugees admitted to the U.S. from 15,000 to 125,000 per year.

This means we’ll have to ramp up fast. Every refugee family will need a home, furniture, food, and clothing. Children will need to be enrolled in school. Adults will need job training. Our staff will be busier than ever helping people adjust to their new lives.

In the meantime, we are helping the families who are already here – people who have lost their jobs this year, fallen ill, need critical legal services, or are struggling to feed their loved ones. And as the COVID-19 vaccine rolls out, we will make sure that the communities we serve know when, where, and how to receive it.
