Friend --
It wasn’t long ago that the far right was heralding the end of J Street.
After Trump’s election and his nomination of David Friedman as ambassador to Israel, our inboxes and social media accounts were filled with messages predicting we’d close our doors within the year.
Well, they miscalculated. Badly.
The danger of this administration’s extremism awakened an amazing new energy among all those committed to justice, democracy and a better future for Israelis and Palestinians.
Our movement swelled to over 200,000 supporters. Together, we pushed back on the worst impulses of Trump and Netanyahu, helping to lead a global campaign to stop de jure annexation. We mobilized our largest-ever electoral effort to flip the House in 2018 and then to win the presidency in 2020.
In the year ahead, J Street endorsees will occupy the White House and over half of the House and Senate Democratic Caucuses. We’ll have the opportunity not only to reverse the damage done by Trump and the far right over the past four years, but to begin a new era of US engagement with Israel and the Palestinians grounded in a commitment to peace, human rights and democracy.
But our success will depend -- as it always has -- on your support.
If you’re in a position to give, please chip in before the end of 2020. All gifts are being matched through midnight >>

Four years ago, we were told the Trump-Friedman era would spell the end of the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement.
Instead, our movement helped put an end to the Trump-Friedman era. And together, we can help shape what comes next.
Cheers to a new year of healing, of progress and of peace.
Jeremy Ben-Ami
President, J Street
