Team,
So many of us have come together to support our neighbors this year. And we need to keep it up going into 2021.
Local organizations are doing so much to help folks make ends meet.
I've been so inspired by what all these groups are doing right here in NY-19. Please join me and support them with a donation before 2020 is over.
Can you split a donation between Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, the Regional Food Bank of Northeast New York, and United Way of the Greater Capital Region? Every bit makes a difference.
These organizations are doing invaluable work for our community.
Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley helps fund a wide range of local nonprofits, including through the Farm Fresh Food Initiative which brings Hudson Valley produce to people in the region who need it most. Their Pivoting to Respond fund is specifically designed to support and strengthen organizations addressing urgent needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Regional Food Bank of Northeast New York provides more than 35 million pounds of food each year to 1,000 member agencies in the 23 counties. With so many people struggling just to get by, the food bank's mission is now even more important.
United Way of the Greater Capital Region brings together organizations for the greater good. It invests in ways that help local residents with “building blocks for a good life” like meeting basic needs, receiving an education, getting a stable income, and maintaining good health. It also supports the local 2-1-1 number, which helps connect New Yorkers with essential services.
These groups are doing so much to keep our community afloat through everything going on in the world.
Will you join me in supporting these local charities?
Thank you and have a Happy New Year,
Antonio
