Click here Dear John, Throughout this past month, we’ve shared messages from family farmers and ranchers across the country who told us about why they farm, the challenges they’re facing and their vision for the future. They’re resilient, hopeful and essential. For 35 years, Farm Aid has stood with family farmers and, with your support, we’ll continue to be here for them. Thanks to people like you, even through the extraordinary circumstances of 2020, Farm Aid is here for family farmers. We’re here to answer our hotline and provide emergency assistance to farmers when they need it most as well as provide long-term strategies that strengthen family farm agriculture and promote fair farm policies. The Farm Aid COVID-19 Farmer Resilience Initiative brought together more than 120 partner organizations around the country to disburse nearly $500,000 in emergency grants to family farmers and ranchers. We’re hoping 2021 will be better for everyone, but regardless, we’ll continue to:
Farm Aid is committed to being here for our family farmers, but we can’t do it without your support. Please, if you can, make a tax-deductible gift to Farm Aid right now. Every donation makes a real difference and shows farmers how much they mean to us – just when we need them most. Did you know that under the CARES Act, the limitation on how much in charitable donations you can deduct for 2020 federal income tax purposes has been lifted? And if you claim the standard deduction as most people do, you can donate up to $300 without having to itemize. But hurry – this expires tonight! |
