Gray wolf

Hi John,

2020 ends in a few hours, and with it the generous 1:1 match for every dollar given to the Saving Life on Earth Fund. Please give by our midnight deadline to make this match count.

It's been a long year — but we're ready to take on the challenge of a new administration in our fight to protect wildlife and wild places.

We'll be in court to restore the Endangered Species Act to its full power and keep drilling out of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Our battle for wolves across the lower 48 will go from state to state to prevent wolf hunts and get these beloved creatures the protection they need.

Your year-end tax-deductible donation can't wait.

Unless we act wolf packs will be hunted, trapped and torn apart. Monarch butterflies, whose federal protection was delayed indefinitely just weeks ago, will continue to be ravaged by pesticides as their populations plummet.

This will be my final request of the year — please take this moment to contribute to the Saving Life on Earth Fund.

We've shown time and time again that we can win for wildlife. Over the past 30 years, the Center has locked in protections for 723 species and more than half a billion acres of habitat.

In 2020 we secured victories for Yellowstone's grizzlies, Humboldt martens, mountain lions in California, Elfin Woods warblers and Texas salamanders — and helped block a copper mine in critical jaguar habitat in Arizona.

We won almost 500,000 acres of proposed protected habitat for yellow-billed cuckoos across seven western states. In Hawai'i we got the EPA to designate several water bodies as "impaired" due to plastic pollution, which will lead to limits on the amount of plastic that enters the state's waters.

The extinction emergency requires bold, fierce action. We're ready — but we need you with us.

Double your gift now to our Saving Life on Earth Fund. All gifts through midnight tonight will be matched.

For the wild,

Kierán Suckling
