McConnell introduces his own bill on $2,000 stimulus checks, other Trump priorities   Biden to campaign in Georgia on same day as Trump ahead of pivotal Senate elections

 
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Wednesday introduced his own version of a bill to increase the $600 stimulus checks from the coronavirus relief package to $2,000, but also included two other major priorities for President Trump. President Trump and Joe Biden are set to rally in Georgia the same day, January 4th, the day before the election.
