What a year...

Despite the government's mismanagement, we avoided a no deal end to the year. 

Still, this is not the deal Britain was promised or which we need. There remains much work to do. 

But it's important to remember how far we've come.

Last December, we were looking down the barrel of a massive Conservative majority, and the UK's exit from the EU. 

But we rose to the dual challenges of Brexit and COVID to refocus our efforts: on countering isolationism, criticising this government’s incompetence and pursuing the closest possible deal with Europe.

It's been a uniquely difficult year, not least for those who want to see a truly global Britain, leading the way on science, co-operation and international peace. 

So it's important we look back on all we’ve achieved this year, together.

We made headlines - in the national press...

And, thanks to the thousands of supporters who send letters into their local papers, we made a splash in the local press across the country too.

This is just a taste of what we've achieved together. From massive MRP polling to political outreach in Westminster, Brussels and beyond, there's too much to put in one email. 

None of this could have been achieved without you, our supporters, who've stuck with us through thick and thin.

With your help, have done so much this year - here's to 2021 being bigger, better and brighter.
