Sustainability in Action Webinar

Join USAID's AIDSFree Project on 25 September 2019 at 8:30 a.m. EDT to learn about what sustainability means in voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) programmes. Register here ([link removed]) .

Speakers will provide examples of sustainability in action, highlight the processes used to date, and share AIDSFree’s results, challenges, and lessons learned through its VMMC programmes in Tanzania.

Since 2015, AIDSFree Tanzania has emphasized sustainability in its VMMC programme, working with local government authorities and civil society organizations to integrate and promote VMMC services within existing health systems. After adapting the national-level PEPFAR Sustainability Index Tool to assess and drive progress at the facility, district, and regional levels, the project led the development of a national sustainability roadmap to guide VMMC efforts.

The webinar will take place on Adobe Connect. A link to the webinar will be distributed to all registrants prior to the webinar.

Presenters:
Deborah Cook Kaliel, Office of HIV/AIDS, USAID
Valerian L. Kiggundu, Senior Adviser, Biomedical Prevention, USAID
Alice Christensen, Chief of Party, AIDSFree Project, Jhpiego
Jenna Metz, Program Officer, AIDSFree Project, Jhpiego
