Friend -- My home state of Georgia is a competitive battleground state. And if we can send more pro-democracy senators to Washington this January, we might not need to rely solely on the power of grassroots movements to hold bad actors accountable. With more allies in Congress, we can pass strong legislation to protect voting rights and institute redistricting reforms.

Here's a custom link to pitch in whatever you can: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/aotl-democracy-reform?xxxxxx

I want to acknowledge that we're asking you for a donation during the holiday season, after a tough year and a long election cycle -- but we'd really appreciate your help. Georgia's Senate runoff election is mere days from now -- meaning this will be the last weekend to get out the vote.

Raffi said that the Georgia runoff election has serious national impacts. She's right and I'm glad she said it. The power to safeguard our democracy for years to come is in the hands of Georgia's voters this January -- and the hands of grassroots organizers across the country during the redistricting process. 2021 could be a big year for democracy. We only have one shot to get it right -- so let's get to work!

The recent election cycle proved that states like Georgia can be competitive -- despite the odds.

Conservatives spent the past decade chipping away at democracy in Georgia. You can draw a direct line from the Shelby County SCOTUS decision weakening the Voting Rights Act to the voter suppression we've seen in recent Georgia elections. While our movement will provide much-needed accountability during the 2021 redistricting process, the future of our democracy depends on passing laws with redistricting reforms like the For the People Act (H.R. 1) and voter protections like the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. We have a chance to do that in January if we send more pro-democracy senators to Washington. But that hinges on Georgia.

Georgia's Senate runoff election has serious national impacts. That's why we've launched our Democracy Reform Fund to help get out the vote. Make a donation to protect democracy and we'll split it with the Democratic Party of Georgia!

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately and be split between AOTL and the Democratic Party of Georgia.

If district distorters get a hold of the pen again during redistricting next year, they will try to make it harder to hold our elected officials accountable. And as we're seeing all around the country in places like Georgia, people really do want to make their voices heard and be part of the political process. Democracy reforms will make it possible to end the gerrymandering and voter suppression that makes civic participation difficult.

Rather than setting a dollar amount for our end-of-year goal, our team is hoping to see 50 new monthly donors and 500 new first-time donors -- because we know this grassroots movement is only as strong as we are involved.

Will you be one of the 500 people to chip in for the first time?

Thanks for believing in the power of grassroots movements like All On The Line -- and thank you for your support.
