Hi, John, I’m Dylan, and I’m the Volunteer and Distributed Organizing Manager here at the Working Families Party.
A big part of my job is coordinating the amazing team of volunteer WFP activists who, for the last two months, have been texting thousands of Georgia voters every day to let them know about the January 5th runoff for Senate.
These are just some of the powerful conversations we have been having with voters — via text, phone, and at the doors — and we are seeing some incredible results. As of this morning, our team has already sent over 7 million texts and reached 3 million unique voters in Georgia!
I want to take a moment to highlight just one of those conversations, but before I do:
Can you help us reach 1 million more voters in Georgia before the runoff in six days? Contribute to WFP’s Georgia GOTV fund here before our midnight 12/31 deadline.

Over the last couple of months, our distributed organizing team has been focusing on reaching infrequent voters in Georgia. Those are people who may not have voted before, or who may not even know if they are eligible to vote.
I wanted to share the below conversation that one of our volunteers recently had with a Georgia voter (with their permission) because it shows just how powerful and effective this type of outreach can be:
Every contribution to our Georgia GOTV fund helps us reach even more voters just like this — through texts, and also through phone banks and COVID-safe voter outreach on the ground throughout the state.
But early voting ends this week, and GOTV weekend is coming up in a couple of days. There’s not much time left to have an impact.
John, can you make a contribution to our Georgia Runoff GOTV Fund before midnight 12/31 to help us reach hundreds of thousands more voters? Right now is the time your investment in our work will make the biggest difference.
Thank you to all of you who have texted, phonebanked, or donated this year.
Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy new year,
Dylan Easterday
