💌 Rep. Porter sent our first email on June 22nd, introducing our brand-new grassroots movement and mission of supporting powerful voices for truth across the nation. Since then, tens of thousands of people have joined our movement, from Orange County, California to Anchorage, Alaska to New York, New York.

💪 A few of the most popular occupations of our supporters included teachers, physicians, registered nurses, social workers, and artists. We're incredibly proud to have such a diverse supporter base, and to be supported by so many folks with unique lived experiences and backgrounds.

🗳️ Six of our endorsed candidates won their elections—and they're finally headed to Washington this January. We're so excited that Cori Bush (MO-01), Ben Ray Luján (NM-SEN), Ritchie Torres (NY-15), Jamaal Bowman (NY-16), Mondaire Jones (NY-17), and Carolyn Bourdeaux (GA-07) will be joining Rep. Porter in Congress, and we can't wait to see what they'll accomplish on behalf of working families.

❌ And despite being a new organization, we refused money from corporate PACs or lobbyists (and we don't plan on taking any money from these groups in 2021, either).

✅ We were (and still are!) 100% run by the grassroots—and individual donors made our work possible. Our average contribution for 2020 is $29.41, with 98% of all donors chipping in $100 or less.

👀 As for what's to come in the future, our team is currently cooking up big things for 2021 (and beyond). We're hoping to learn more about the kind of government you want to see–and we'll work towards that, together.
