Hi John,

With 2020 almost in our rearview mirror (thank goodness), I want to take a moment to thank you and the rest of this phenomenal grassroots team. Because of your support, we were able to win a tough election this November, even while House Republicans made gains across the country.

Next week I'll be sworn in to serve my second term in Congress, and I'm honored and excited to have the opportunity to keep working for the people of Washington's 8th district.

But the new term will also bring new challenges. National Republicans already have their sights set on reclaiming a majority in the midterms by flipping swing districts like ours.

I've always said WA-08 is a true purple district and our race this year proved just how competitive it really is. We have an uphill battle ahead of us, so we need to start laying the groundwork now if we're going to protect this seat and the Democratic House majority in the midterm elections.
