Bees are dying, John -- but you can help save them. Make a tax-deductible year-end donation now and help save bees from toxic pesticides!

Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup and neonicotinoid pesticides are driving catastrophic pollinator declines nationwide. Beekeepers reported losing more bees last summer than ever before. And monarch butterflies have declined by more than 97% in the West in the last 20 years.

This can’t go on, John. Scientists are warning that we’re on the brink of a “catastrophic collapse of nature’s ecosystems.” Now, we need your help to stop it.

Bees are the canary in the coal mine, showing us that the toxic way we grow our food isn’t working. These essential insects pollinate around 75% of our most nutritious foods, like fruits, nuts and vegetables. Without bees, we would run short of many of the foods we rely on.

It’s already begun -- new research shows that crops like apples, blueberries and cherries are being directly hampered by a lack of wild bees and other pollinators.

And it’s all for the sake of corporate greed. Big Ag and fossil fuel corporations are driving declines of our pollinators through pesticide use, climate change and habitat loss.

We can avert this mass extinction. Help save bees, our food system and our ecosystems with a $27 year-end donation to Friends of the Earth.

Friends of the Earth is at the forefront of a people-driven, strategic, multi-pronged campaign to shift away from toxic pesticides.

But we’re up against powerful foes: Companies like Bayer-Monsanto and some of the richest, most powerful industries in the world. They spend millions of dollars on efforts to spread misinformation, lobby the government and stack the deck to avoid accountability.

Despite these odds, we are winning. Thanks to active support from members like you, we’ve passed pesticide bans in states across the country, we’ve successfully pressured the garden industry to move away from toxic pesticides, and we have a roadmap to pass pivotal new legislation and key protections in 2021 and beyond.

Our plan has the power to win comprehensive protections for bees, people and the planet. But we don’t have much time, and we need your help to get there.

This is a watershed moment in the fight to save our pollinators. If we don’t shift away from toxic pesticides soon, our ecosystems and food systems may never recover. It is our duty to act before it’s too late -- and in taking action, we can build a world that’s better for all of us.

Help save the bees and secure a better future for all of us. Donate $27 or more and your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar -- up to $809,000!
