Bees are the canary in the coal mine, showing us that the toxic way we grow our food isn’t working. These essential insects pollinate around 75% of our most nutritious foods, like fruits, nuts and vegetables. Without bees, we would run short of many of the foods we rely on.
It’s already begun -- new research shows that crops like apples, blueberries and cherries are being directly hampered by a lack of wild bees and other pollinators.
And it’s all for the sake of corporate greed. Big Ag and fossil fuel corporations are driving declines of our pollinators through pesticide use, climate change and habitat loss.
