Today we
need to ask you to make your
first $3 contribution so that we can get
Alexandria’s next campaign off to a strong start and continue building
power for our movement in Congress.

Please give us a moment to lay out why this request – especially before
tommorow’s FEC deadline – is crucial. Here’s what we’re working on:

 1. Preparing for a redistricting fight: New York could lose one or two of
its representatives in Congress. AOC’s district could be redrawn or
chopped apart as a result. We need to prepare for what comes after
that, whether it’s another primary or a dramatically different
district than the current NY-14.

 2. Passing progressive policies: The Squad has grown. But we can’t do it
alone. We need to show our fellow legislators and our incoming
president that their constituents demand progressive change too. With
your help, we can organize and strengthen the grassroots movement
behind our key policy priorities in Congress so that we can win some
big legislative victories when President-Elect Joe Biden takes office.

 3. Building resources to weigh in on critical races: We were able to help
flip Jamaal Bowman’s race. We nearly won a major upset with Charles
Booker in Kentucky. We’ve sent over $880k to grassroots groups in
Georgia organizing deep canvases and turning out the Latinx community.
Think what we could do if we are better prepared next year.

Alexandria can’t do it alone. She needs a movement alongside her. The more
grassroots supporters we have on board, the more we can accomplish.

We still have a $100,549.64 gap in fundraising to fill to hit our goal

The next two years are going to be full of challenges and opportunities.

We’ll face the challenge of redistricting as New York loses one or two of
its seats.

We’ll have an opportunity to grow the Squad’s influence with new members
of Congress like Jamaal Bowman and Cori Bush getting sworn in.

And we’ll have a chance to support more progressives running for office in
2022.
