Team,
In a moment, I'm going to ask you to chip in $10 to help our campaign reach our critical end-of-year goal of 1,000 contributions to keep building our political power. But first, I'm going to share the bold, transformative policies and reforms that grassroots support has helped make possible.

Thanks to the power of this movement, in my first term of Congress, we passed more than two dozen bills and amendments -- more than 94% of the freshman class. Here's a snapshot of the legislation we passed together:
-The MEALS Act, which provided USDA grant waivers to feed 22 million kids school meals during the coronavirus pandemic, whether schools were open or not
-The PAUL Act, a bill I wrote to end the culture of corruption by mandating more accountability and transparency for those lobbying on behalf of foreign governments, which was included in the For The People Act, a sweeping democracy reform package
-Bold pieces of COVID-19 relief legislation including the CARES Act to provide hazard pay for frontline workers, eviction relief, and state and local government aid
-The George Floyd Justice in Policing Act, a series of bills designed to create stronger accountability for law enforcement, protect protesters, limit the president's ability to deploy military forces domestically, and help communities rebuild
As Whip of the Progressive Caucus and Vice Chair of the Medicare for All Caucus, I also helped bring our movement's priorities to the halls of power, making substantial progress on community-centered legislation to:
-Abolish student loan debt
-Provide universal school meals
-Combat systemic racism
-Guarantee housing for all
-Transform our country's approach to foreign policy
-End the waste crisis that is fueling climate change
I am proud of the progress we've made but also legislate, investigate, and advocate with the knowledge that the crises brought on by the pandemic, our corrupt system, and Donald Trump will continue to cause damage for decades.
Despite the scale of the obstacles our communities face, I know we can continue to bring about bold, transformative change to take these crises head-on and end the political and corporate corruption and social, racial, economic, and environmental inequities that pervade our society. But when you push power, power pushes back, and we've got to organize and prepare for the challenges that will come our way in the months and years ahead.
Will you chip in $10 to help us meet our end-of-year goal of 1,000 donations and strengthen our political power?
