As we look ahead to next year, I've got important goals that I cannot achieve alone.

It is going to take an enormous amount of political will to pass the progressive legislation that we urgently need. It's not good enough to just distribute the vaccine and hope for the best. We need to restore America's swagger by lifting wages for low income families, confronting the climate crisis, restoring our nation's ruined global reputation, and making our streets safe from violence.

With Donald Trump leaving the White House, I'm sure a lot of folks are hopeful that politics is something that won't consume every second of every day. And it'll be nice to have a presidential Twitter feed that doesn't make daily headlines.

But the truth is, we cannot reduce our commitment to the work of reform. Whether we win or lose the two Senate races in Georgia, we know that Democrats will have enormous challenges moving progressive policies forward to protect American families.

In fact, the fights will be bigger and harder than ever, so my ask for you today is to do something to recommit to this work for the long haul.
