First Liberty
Dear John,
Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to double your gift and help us reach our
critical year-end goal.
And since we're getting down to the wire, I want to give you a
first-hand account of how your financial gift right now can make
history-and restore religious freedom for every person of faith
in America.
You might be wondering: Does my donation really have THAT much of an
impact?
Yes, it absolutely does. Allow me to explain with a tangible example.
I'm sure you're familiar with Coach Joe Kennedy, the
beloved high school coach who was fired for simply kneeling in a
silent prayer on the 50-yard-line after football games-and
courageously stood by his decision even though it cost him his job.
He's been fighting the good fight through the twists and turns
of the judicial system for over five years now, long before
"lockdowns" or "cancel culture" entered the
national landscape. Unfortunately, sometimes justice takes
time-especially now that opposition to religious liberty is
fiercer than ever. And as you might guess, prolonged legal battles
don't come cheap.
Here's the point: Without your faithful financial support, Coach
Joe would never have been able to stay in this fight. YOUR donations
are the lifeblood of his quest for victory.
And Coach actually needs your support more than ever right now, as he
is less than one month away from a crucial hearing back at the Ninth
Circuit after the Supreme Court asked them to reconsider their
previous decision against him. So on January 25th, we'll be back
to explain once again why Coach Joe has every right to live out his
faith on the football field.
But as important as this is...it gets even bigger.
Just last month, a few states away from Coach Kennedy, some players
from the BYU and Boise State football teams met at midfield after a
hard-fought game for a powerful display of unity as they joined hands
for a voluntary prayer led by Boise State's team chaplain.
And right on cue, the enemies of faith objected. They simply
couldn't let a good deed-and a perfectly constitutional
deed, I might add-go unpunished.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation wasted no time demanding that the
chaplain be terminated. And what's worse, Boise State actually
gave in...announcing that the chaplain would no longer be
associated with the team.
Such blatant abuse of the Constitution is outrageous. It must be
stopped. And it can be stopped...
...as long as we get a victory for Coach Kennedy.
A win for Coach would pull the rug out from under the FFRF and all
other anti-faith groups like them. It would leave them without any
basis to make their radical demands and cancel people of
faith-good Americans like Coach Joe and the Boise State
chaplain.
It would truly be a new dawn of religious freedom for every person of
faith in America.
That's what is at stake in the Coach Kennedy case. And
that's how your gift today could make all the difference.
Your invaluable support is the only way we can continue partnering
with the elite attorneys in our exclusive network that position us to
