We’re tired. Our elected officials continue to talk and not deliver. They say they support our communities, they say they are for social justice, and they do nothing. It’s time for change.

The NYPD received nowhere near the budget cuts we wanted. Budget cuts that would be reinvested right into our communities that continue to be looked down on from those in power. Communities that remain the most vulnerable to this pandemic and climate change. Our neighbors in NYCHA had no gas for weeks. Some of our community members go without heat for months. They need better management and funding.

Chip in $21 now, $21 for change in 2021. #OnlyDianne will deliver strong policy changes.

The Flushing Waterfront Project was approved. A project that does not consider the impact of climate change, cost of living, or a commitment to the number of affordable housing units the region needs. A result that does not give us any optimism about the future of gentrification in our city and how many people will be forced out of their communities due to rising costs.
