Team DeFazio is on the ground in Georgia!

When a runoff was announced in the Georgia Senate races, I knew I needed to lend my extraordinary team to the Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff campaigns to help secure victory and flip the Senate.

Make no mistake – if we do not win these seats, Mitch McConnell will obstruct every aspect of President Biden's agenda – from fighting COVID, to restoring the economy and even his Supreme Court Nominees.

Just yesterday, McConnell unilaterally rejected the bipartisan effort to get working families the relief they need in the pandemic.

Electing Raphael and Jon will not only allow us to pry Mitch's fingers from the throat of our democracy; they'll be key to advancing our agenda – reinvigorating the economy, racial equity, and facing climate change head on. President-elect Biden is on board with my 21st-century infrastructure package that will create millions of jobs, address climate change and rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.

So, we sent a team to Savannah, where they're busy canvassing, door-knocking, phone-calling, and lending a hand wherever they're needed. (They are, of course, following careful social distancing protocols, too.)

I've never been more proud of this movement. This critical moment demands we do everything possible to get out the vote and take back the Senate for working families nationwide. And thanks to grassroots supporters like you, Team DeFazio has been able to step up and fight on our behalf.

It's an honor to stand at your side. Let's start 2021 off strong.
