As I said in my latest video message, Amazon Watch has protected and defended the rainforest and our climate through deep solidarity with Indigenous communities for nearly 25 years. We effectively amplify the demands from the ground to international governments, financiers, and companies to push them to respect Indigenous rights and stop destroying the Amazon.

This victory happened because a global upswell of support stepped up, took action, and amplified Indigenous voices.
