Hello —
At the end of this email, I will ask you to make a contribution to power our fight for progress as we prepare for the new year. But first, I want you to know why this request is so important, and what a difference your donation will make.
The truth is, the money we raise won’t capture the meaningful conversations I’ve had with folks across Minnesota about the future of our country. And fundraising numbers aren’t a true measure of the dedication and commitment of our grassroots supporters ready to get to work.
What our fundraising will help us do, however, is make big investments in our organization that will grow our people-powered movement in the weeks and months to come. It will allow us to keep our work going strong as we begin to undo the damage Donald Trump has done to our country. And it will help us respond to whatever mud the other side decides to sling at us.
Democrats are already facing an avalanche of attacks from Mitch McConnell and his network of super PACs, and the smear campaign will only get worse in the days ahead as the GOP works to keep control of the Senate. But this team has never backed down from a tough fight, and we can’t start now.
So, here comes the part where I ask you:
Can you step up with a contribution toward our end-of-year goal to keep our organization going strong in the fights ahead? We have a difficult task ahead of us as we work to get our country back on the right track, which means your support is critical right now.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
Once we close the books on our end-of-year deadline at midnight tomorrow, I will look at the growing list of more than 165,000 online grassroots contributors who are chipping in what they can to power our work — whether it’s $1, $10, or $25.
It makes me so proud to know we have built a movement of folks just like you pitching in what they can because they believe so strongly in the work we’re doing together. I hope to see your name on that list.
Thank you for all you do.
