I hope you and your loved ones are having a happy, healthy and safe holiday season. This time of year, I always like to reflect on the work we did together over the past year and take note of the work that we have ahead of us. But this year is a little different.
We are about to experience the end of four years of relentless attacks from the Trump Administration on our communities, our fundamental rights, and our democracy. There is so much more that we have to do. While I am hopeful for the Biden and Harris Administration, I know the damage of the past four years won’t be undone overnight. In the months and years ahead, we have to be just as committed to doing the difficult work of moving our country forward – ensuring that our COVID-19 recovery is inclusive, advocating for equity and racial justice in health care, protecting our environment, expanding the right to vote, and so much more.
