Dear Friend,
In just a few weeks, President-elect Biden will officially take his place in the White House and begin enacting his agenda.
Over the past four years, we’ve seen President Trump and his allies launch full-scale attacks on retirement security. We must ensure that retirees are a key part of President-elect Biden’s agenda in order to repair the damage.
President-elect Biden’s transition team has already floated some good ideas, like ACA expansion. But we need to make sure that these actually turn into enacted policies, including:
- Strengthening and expanding earned Social Security benefits
- Adding dental, vision, and hearing coverage to Medicare
- Expanding the Affordable Care Act
- Lowering the cost of prescription drugs
- Increasing the minimum wage to $15 an hour
