Dear john,
At the top of a mountain in a remote village in Tanzania, Haika cares
for her son, Michael, who is nearing his second birthday. Haika and her
husband have always worked hard but often earned enough only to eat two
small meals each day, and Michael was often sick. Malnutrition has been
rampant in Haika's village for decades.
