Leading Our Change:

Our Staff
Hello AdvOCAtes,

Happy Holidays! December 24th marked our one week countdown for our end-of-year campaign, “Leading Our Change” ([link removed]) , which will help fund our national internships and policy & advocacy work. This will provide college students and recent graduates with the life-changing opportunity to live and work in Washington, D.C. alongside members of nonprofits, nationally renowned thought leaders, and influential Congress members. To commemorate the end of the year, we've asked our staff to talk about how they lead change at OCA!

Name: Thu Nguyen (she/her/hers)

Role with OCA National: Director

How do you lead change with OCA?:
I lead change at OCA by keeping my eyes and ears open. As a membership-based civil rights organization, it is critically important to be a good listener to our constituents, chapter leaders, other stakeholders, and staff. As a result, I also get to know so many incredible stories that inspire my work.

Tomorrow is the last day of the year! By making a tax-deductible gift this holiday season, you can help us meet our $100,000 goal and ensure that there is a pipeline of AAPI leaders for tomorrow.
