John, nearly
every Democrat in the U.S. House voted for $2,000 survival checks for the
people. But you know who’s been at the forefront of advocating for $2,000
in the last week AND for the last 8 months? Justice Democrats.

AOC, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar and our other endorsed
progressive fighters in Congress have used their platforms to advocate for
direct $2,000 recurring payments from the very beginning of the pandemic.
And they’ve been the loudest advocates for the latest bill for $2,000
survival checks. Bernie is right there at the forefront in the Senate,
demanding a clean vote on $2,000 checks, even holding up the Senate’s
regular business to demand action for the people.

Democratic Party — but if corporate Democrats refuse to do what the people
want, we will keep primarying them and keep defeating them.

The future of the Democratic Party looks and thinks a lot more like AOC,
Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman than the current leadership of the Democratic
Party. We need a Democratic Party that will fight for $2,000 survival
checks the way Justice Democrats are fighting right now.
