Join the Arlington Young Dems for our September Happy Hour tonight, September 24th!

Our monthly happy hours are a great opportunity to meet new people, learn how to get involved, and/or just grab a drink and catch up with fellow young Dems! Everyone is welcome.

This month’s happy hour will take place September 24th at 6:30 pm at Freddie's Beach Bar, located on 555 23rd St S, Arlington, VA. There is street parking available nearby and it's a short walk from the Crystal City Metro Station.

Do you want to flip the Virginia Legislature but aren't sure how to be more active in volunteering? Well, we have the right place for you. The Arlington Young Dems launched our campaign effort to Flip Virginia 2019 and you can help starting this weekend! As a bonus, AYDs who canvass for Wendy Gooditis this Saturday will receive complimentary tickets to the Brunch Reception in Support of Wendy on Sunday the 29th.

It's campaign season and time to focus on electing a Democratic state legislature. We have upcoming volunteer opportunities open to anyone who wants to come:

Want to help elect Democrats in less than an hour a month? We're recruiting Arlingtonians who live in apartment and condo complexes to serve as building ambassadors. You'll arrange voter registration events, remind your neighbors about upcoming elections and welcome candidates to visit.

Being a building ambassador is easy and fun! Many of our ambassadors find it a great way to meet their neighbors. Arlington Democrats will provide you with all the help that you need.
