Before the coronavirus first took off in Texas, health care rationing was already well underway in Italy. Top Italian health officials urged hospitals not to treat elderly patients, regardless of whether they even had the virus.

An Italian health agency published utilitarian guidelines stating that doctors and nurses should deny treatment for people who have too low a number of expected “life-years” left. This includes ALL elderly patients needing intensive care treatment, not just those suffering from COVID-19.

As soon as we heard this, we knew these anti-Life ethics would come to Texas.

Sure enough - days later *Jenny, the wife of a coronavirus patient, contacted us. A Central Texas hospital forced a Do-Not-Resuscitate (DNR) order on her husband, *Sam, against her will.

Your support dispatched one of our patient advocates to the Central Texas hospital, and the DNR was revoked!

The gifts in 2020 from you and other warriors saved Sam’s life.

When many Texas cities locked down earlier this year, city councils continued to meet. Pro-Life activists and the Texas Right to Life team used these meetings to pass Sanctuary City for the Unborn ordinances. There are now 16 Pro-Life sanctuary cities in Texas!
