Together, we are organizing to ensure that we make our aspirations —and our campaign demands— a reality.
We remain committed to our resistance and to our fight to abolish the prison industrial complex (PIC). Will you celebrate our gains and make a gift to support CR this month ([link removed]) ?
We are majority grassroots-funded – so our work is only possible because of your support! You can help us reach our $40,000 year end goal with a gift to CR this month ([link removed]) . Thank you for organizing with us and celebrating our wins.
All new monthly sustainers receive our ABOLISH THE PRISON INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX tote bag! Donate here ([link removed]) , or shop in the store, below!

From Our Comrade for our Comrades: Undanced Dances...
[link removed]
Suchi Branfman, an amazing choreographer, educator, and friend of CR, has just released a new book, “Undanced Dances through Prison Walls During a Pandemic”. ([link removed]) In 2016, Suchi began a five-year choreographic residency inside a California men’s prison. The project developed into a critical dialogue about freedom, confinement, and how we survive restriction, limitations, and denial of liberty through the act of dancing.
The project abruptly ended in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 limitations, but the work was rapidly revised, and the incarcerated dancers began sending out written choreographies from their bunks to the outside world. Proceeds ([link removed]) from this book go to the choreographers, support our work, AND support the amazing work of our comrades at California Coalition for Women Prisoners ([link removed]) !
Purchase the book here ([link removed]) .
