John,
My colleague, Ruth, recently sent you an important message, and I wanted to make sure you saw it. She works hands-on with the animals in our care every day. She knows the work and dedication and love that each one requires, and that’s why she was so excited to share the news of our year-end goal to help them. The year is coming to an end, but our work to help vulnerable animals is never over. We desperately need you to join us and help save defenseless animals who need our love and care.
Animals suffer out of sight every day: a homeless dog who has been passed by, vulnerable cats and kittens fending for themselves and countless animals who suffer in the elements with no home or warm beds in sight. For them, every moment we wait is another moment they suffer. |
You can see why I had to reach out again after Ruth’s email yesterday. Right now, animals are depending on us. And every minute counts in our fight to save their lives. So does every ASPCA supporter. Please help us reach our goal by midnight on December 31. Be a voice and take action to show animals they matter, and that help is here.
With so much to do and so many animals counting on us, we need people like you who care and want to make a difference. Thank you for standing on the side of innocent animals with your generosity again today. There’s still time to save a life of an animal who needs you in 2020 and there’s still time to make 2021 a better year for even more animals in need.
Thank you,
Matt |

We're at the tail end of another full year of caring for cats and dogs in our Adoption Center. We've had hundreds of animals come through our doors, helped them heal and found them new, loving homes. For every animal who finds a family, we have friends like you to thank. Although the days are winding down in 2020, there's still time for you to reach even more animals who need you.
To end the year strong, we've set a high goal of 20,000 gifts by midnight, December 31—and we need you to help us reach it. |
Right now, we have cats and dogs at our Adoption Center who will ring in the new year with me, other staff and volunteers. There are animals who were rescued by our Community Engagement team, animals surrendered by COVID-impacted families, and long-stay
animals who have had trouble finding the right home. We will continue to give love to each one of them for as long as they’re with us. And YOU can help us do that. |

Be one of 20,000 people to stand up for animals before 2020 ends. You’ve helped to give second chances to so many animals this year. Thank you for continuing to stand with me, and the animals I work with each and every day. And thank you for helping us reach our critical year-end goal. |
