Dear Evidence Action Supporter,

2020 has been a year in which the world that we knew changed forever. A year in which the lives of people around the world were turned upside down. Our hearts go out to those who have fallen ill with COVID-19, and especially those who have lost loved ones. 

Yet as we reflect on the many challenges of 2020, we also are proud to have continued our impact on the lives of people in the poorest places. To do so, we stayed true to our core values—and were guided by one in particular: think big, act urgently. 

We rapidly launched new initiatives to support countries on COVID-19 efforts, including delivering soap and prevention messages to millions. We pivoted our core programs to continue delivering clean water, deworming medications, and nutritional supplements across Africa and Asia, despite myriad challenges with transit and school closures. Please read on for some 2020 highlights.  

As this tumultuous year comes to an end, we wanted to make a last call for your support. Every dollar you give is crucial to our work to reduce the burden of poverty through evidence-based and cost-effective interventions—all the more necessary in 2021 and beyond.
