As a result of my role in defending Judge Kavanaugh's nomination,
I am now one of the Democrats' top targets in their bid to seize
control of the U.S. Senate.
John,
It has been nearly one year since the hearings to confirm or
reject President Trump's nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the
United States Supreme Court.
I remember it like it was yesterday.
I will never forget the look on the faces of Brett and his wife
Ashley as they walked into the Judiciary Committee hearing room
each morning, preparing to face yet another disgusting and phony
attack on his character.
I still remember the chants and screams from the angry mobs
outside the hearing room. And I'll never forget the countless
reporters demanding answers to the latest charges, broadcasting
them as "breaking news" before they had been vetted.
Every hour brought another series of vicious tweets from
left-wing Hollywood celebrities, and every day brought another
series of protests organized by radical activists.
The Democrats eagerly accepted every new charge in their attempt
to destroy a good man in those sham hearings.
And for what reason? Power, and the desire to stack the Supreme
Court with liberal justices.
They bragged about trying to delay the confirmation of President
Trump's conservative nominees to the Supreme Court with the hope
a Democratic presidential candidate would win in 2020.
As a result of my role in defending Judge Kavanaugh's nomination,
I am now one of the Democrats' top targets in their bid to seize
control of the U.S. Senate.
John, if you're still outraged by the Radical Left's
indefensible actions, will you stand by my side and rush a
personal contribution of $10, $25, $50, $100 or more to my
campaign headquarters right away?
Last month, I woke up to a headline in a local paper declaring a
"National Lose Lindsey Movement." The article described how
fourteen months before Election Day, a liberal California
billionaire and a Democratic political operative from DC had
already begun organizing events and spending hundreds of
thousands of dollars to attack me.
Just as ominous, my Democratic opponents raised a record $1.5
million in the last quarter. Making matters worse, nationally
the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee outraised our
Republican counterpart last month.
That's why I must turn to friends like you to help me defend
myself.
John, there's more than simply my re-election at stake.
Control of the entire United States Senate is at risk. If
Democrats win, they'll try to "reorganize" and expand the Supreme
Court so they can stack it with more liberal justices.
Nearly one year after their attacks on Brett Kavanaugh, the full
weight of the Democrats' power structure is poised to come down
on me. As soon as I receive your online contribution of $10 or
more, I'll put it to work to defend myself and our conservative
agenda.
Thank you for believing in me and standing by my side in this
fight for the future of our nation.
Sincerely,
Lindsey Graham
P.S. John, what we witnessed during the Kavanaugh hearings was
an unethical sham. In their desperate bid to seize control of
the United States Senate and get their revenge against me, the
Radical Left is coming after me with everything they've got. Can
I count on you to chip in $10 or more to my re-election campaign
today?
