In the weeks after my sweet little Daniel's murder, my wife Jackie and I would literally collapse on the floor in a heap, sobbing together.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that Daniel is gone forever. I look at his empty chair at the kitchen table and can't believe he'll never sit there again. But what keeps me going in those moments is knowing I can still honor his too-short life by protecting other children from gun violence.
