Dear John,
Enough is enough.
This week, hundreds of world leaders will be in New York City for the opening of the UN General Assembly. Not surprisingly, there are many issues on their minds.
We have an important one to add. The policy of appeasing Hezbollah – the Iran-backed group with over 100,000 rockets pointed at Israel – must end now.

When world leaders open The New York Times this morning, they will see this ad pointing out the rank hypocrisy of pretending that Hezbollah is a legitimate political actor.
When they turn on CNN and other cable news channels, they will see this commercial reminding them that the rising death toll is the price to pay for continuing to bury their heads in the sand.
When they meet with AJC, in the more than 80 high-level meetings we will have this week, they will be presented with these fact sheets eviscerating the timeworn arguments against labeling Hezbollah as a terrorist organization.
Join us in saying “Enough is enough.”

The push for full designation is gaining momentum. Just this year, the United Kingdom and Argentina joined the Arab League, Canada, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Israel, the Netherlands, and the United States in designating all of Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. This week, we honored the Foreign Minister of Bahrain, a man who knows a thing or two about fighting terrorists, for making this point clear.
We do not need to agree on everything, but we should all find common ground in saying that a terrorist is a terrorist and that appeasement as a policy doesn’t work.
Sincerely,
Jason Isaacson
